Did you know that U.S. citizens or permanent residents, 62 years of age or older can purchase a Lifetime Senior Pass to national parks and national wildlife refuges, national forests and grasslands, and lands managed by the Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers? The price is $80 for the Lifetime Senior Pass plus a $10 fee for processing the application. You can also get an Annual Senior Pass for only $20.

Note: these are the new rates as of August 2017. Click here for more information regarding changes to the Senior Pass Program.

It gets even better…

A Senior Pass provides entrance or access to the pass owner PLUS accompanying passengers in a personal vehicle (at “per vehicle” fee areas), and up to four adults at locations that charge per person; children 15 years of age and under are admitted free. What a wonderful, affordable way to spend some quality family time!

There are over 2,000 federal recreation areas to visit.

The fastest, easiest way to get a lifetime pass is in person at a federal recreation site. (Applicants must provide documentation of age and residency or citizenship.) Click HERE to view a list of some locations that you can apply at. If you buy the pass online or order it by mail it’s $20.00, and it takes several weeks to receive it.
